CIP’able Baghouse System Passes USDA Dairy Division Field Test
The DSI BIP (Bag-in-Place) Cleaning System recently passed the USDA Dairy Division field test, proving the
bag cleanliness following the BIP system “matched the cleaning capabilities of the laundering method.”
The final step occurred when USDA approved the language in the 3-A Sanitary Standards for
Bag Collectors reflecting the applicable testing regimen for comparing a CIP system to a
laundering system.
The process technology is not limited to the Dairy
industry — DSI has successfully implemented the BIP Cleaning System in the chemical, meat & poultry, and
seafood markets.
