Our custom designed evaporating systems perform liquid concentration and water removing processes. These essential processed apply to a wide range of applications within the food, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. All systems are USDA approvable and built to a 3-A acceptance.

This process is done with Falling film ( TVR or MVR ) or Force Recirculation. Each process is designed for a specific application.

Concentrating Liquids
Removing Water
Benefits
USDA Approvable
Fully CIP’able
Types
Falling Film
Rising Film

Heating System
TVR - Thermo Vapor Recompression
  • Utilizes high steam velocities to heat and move vapor.
MVR - Mechanical Vapor Recompression
  • Utilizes a compressor fan to product heat and air velocities to move vapor.
Concentrations
Up to 60% Solids
Headroom
As low as 25 feet
Falling Film
The liquid product is pumped to the top of the calandria where it is evenly distributed on the tube sheet. The product forms a thin film on the surface of the vertical tubes as it flow down, this is where the evaporation takes place. The heating system delivers the heat necessary to boil of water from the product and concentrate it to the specified solids needed.
Rising Film
The liquid product is pumped in to the bottom on the calandria where it is distributed through the tube sheet. In the tube sheet the product starts to boil and turns into vapor as the product level rises through the tubes. When the product makes it to the top of the calandria it enters the separator where the product separates from the vapors. The heating system delivers the heat necessary to boil of water from the product and concentrate it to the specified solids needed.
Forced Circulation
The liquid product is pumped through a Heat Recovery System at high velocities. When the heated product enters the separator it flashes off vapors and the remaining product either recirculates through the system until a specified total solid percent is achieved or it moves to the process.
