Dahmes Welcomes Patrick Thorson to Management Team
September 11, 2020: Dahmes is pleased to announce the addition of Patrick Thorson to the organization as Manufacturing Manager.
“Patrick has successfully led manufacturing teams throughout his 15-year career and is especially talented in understanding & utilizing individual’s strengths, noted Alex Marcus, Dahmes’ Stainless Inc. President. “I’m confident that in partnership with Production Manager, Brian Wesbur, this duo will do an even better job meeting employee and customer expectations.”
Thorson began his career with Redball LLC in Benson, Minnesota as a Production Assembly Team Member. After recognizing a desire to grow his knowledge and experience, in 2005, he joined Willmar Fabrication as Shipping, Receiving, & Materials Manager. From 2009 to 2014, he then served in several supervisorial capacities at Buhler Versatile, gaining experience managing a team of 19 employees. Most recently, Patrick served as Production and Fittings Category Manager for Prinsco, a manufacturer of water management solutions for the ag, commercial, and residential markets.
Patrick commented, “I look forward to building on the knowledge of the manufacturing team at Dahmes to create a collaborative environment & team that is committed to solving the challenges we are faced with. I was really drawn to this position after realizing the commitment & loyalty from employees at Dahmes. I knew it was something I wanted to be part of.”
Thorson comes from a passionate family who has contributed to the manufacturing industry in west central Minnesota for decades. He graduated from KMS High School in Kerkhoven, Minnesota, and has completed a number of leadership & professional development courses through Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota.
