Dahmes Forms New Senior Management Team to Meet Growing Customer Demands
August 11, 2021
Authentic. Pioneering. Committed. These core values are the key drivers in how the Dahmes’ team operates when recruiting, recognizing & promoting employees; and communicating, innovating & delivering solutions to our customers.
In 2020, we set an objective to grow: Grow our team, our solutions offerings, and the impact we have on food, feed & pet food processing plants across the US and Canada. This year, we’ve welcomed 16 new employees to our team, with ten additional open positions that we are seeking to fill. We’ve put resources into R&D to better serve our customers, launched an apprenticeship program, and built several new partnerships across a variety of industries.
Our core purpose is to create ideal industrial process solutions, and to us that means that there isn’t a one size fits all approach. When we talk with existing or new customers, we share our honest feedback in what the right solution may look like – even if it’s different than any other vendor in the industry. We simply want our customers to have the best solution that solves their unique challenges. From the initial conversations to commissioning to ongoing service, we remain a trusted partner until the end. And because of the established trust we build, our customers come back to us with their challenges, and we continue to work with them to solve them again and again. It’s what our team thrives on doing.
Our leadership plays a key role in the growth of our business, and we are pleased to share the individuals who collectively make up our newly formed senior management team under the guidance of our Owner & Founder, Forrest Dahmes. This group’s vast amount of experience and knowledge ultimately creates a better experience for customers and employees.
Alex Marcus, President
Marcus joined Dahmes Contracting LLC (sister company to Dahmes Stainless) in 2015 as Vice President of Operations, and in 2017 took on an additional role as Director of Projects at Dahmes Stainless. In Alex’s role of President at Dahmes Stainless and Dahmes Contracting, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company, manages the company’s financials, and works collaboratively with other leaders in the organization to achieve company goals. For nearly a decade, he also served as Sales Manager for RELCO where he consistently exceeded revenue expectations and played an integral role in acquiring new customers and product lines to RELCO’s portfolio. Roger’s first-hand experience working in engineering and management roles at Bongards’ Premium Cheese, Land O’Lakes, and Valley Queen Cheese offers Dahmes a unique insight to challenges food and dairy manufacturers face, allowing Dahmes to create the right solutions for its customers.
Roger has served as a Board Member for the American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) and North Central Cheese Industries Association (NCCIA). He obtained a degree in Electronic Systems Technology from Lake Area Technical College.
Hans Kabat, Vice President of Engineering

In his new role, he will be providing leadership to the entire design and engineering departments. Prior to joining Dahmes, Hans served in various engineering roles at Dynequip, Inc., Advanced Process Solutions (APS), and managed a small team of engineers at Evaporator Dryer Technologies.
